Obituary for Keith C. Karschney

Keith C. Karschney, age 84, of Lebanon, died Friday, January 6, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 7, 1932 in Poygan, WI, the son of the late Robert and Avis (Safford) Karschney. He married Althea Bunk. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Kevin (friend Amy Smith) of New Baden; five step-children: Michael (friend Eva Obernuferman) of O'Fallon, Karen Darling of O'Fallon, Cheryl (Delmar) Siegel of Trenton Darrel Darling of Terre Haute, IN and Rebecca Darling of Lebanon; nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters: Ruth Bryson of Florida and Helen Mathe of Oshkosh, WI. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Karschney and several brothers and sisters.

Mr. Karschney was a 20 year veteran of the US Army, serving during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and private services will be held.
