Obituary for Carol S. Leyda
Carol S. Leyda, age 65, of Pontoon Beach, died at 4:37 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at VIP Manor in Wood River.
She was born May 4, 1948 in Denver, CO, the daughter of Margaret (Cary) Leyda of Collinsville, and the late Robert Leyda.
Besides her mother, she is also survived by two children: Patrick Imler of Granite City and Christine Imler of Collinsville; two brothers and a sister: Richard Leyda of Collinsville, Connie Streif of Missouri and Rodney Leyda of Missouri.
Mrs. Leyda was a bookkeeper and an administrative assistant for Mercantile Bank. She also was employed as a manager for Convenient Food Mart in Belleville.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated.
