Annabelle Chookaszian, age 91, of Wilmette, Illinois, died Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Belmont Village in Glenview, Illinois. She was born December 16, 1922 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Artesian) Kalkanian. She married Haig Chookaszian. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons: Dennis (Karen) Chookaszian of Wilmette, Illinois and Donald (Johanna) Chookaszian of Glenview, Illinois; and six grandchildren: Jeff, Mike, Kerry, Dan, Dave and John Paul; and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Kalkanian.
Mrs. Chookaszian was Vice President of Toy-Tex Inc, a promotional products company in Skokie, Illinois. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Glenview, and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, faithfully serving her family.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on March 1st, 10:30 AM at Cornerstone Church, Glenview, Illinois.
