Brayman Joseph "Bud"  Schulte Jr.
Brayman J. "Bud" Schulte, Jr., 91, of Belleville, passed away Dec. 17, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
He was a 1945 graduate of Cathedral High School, where he was active in baseball. He retired from Ill. Power Co., after 35 years of service.
He loved tinkering around the house, listening to music, and barbequing.
He was known for his sharp wit, and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Shirley, nee Corrington, who died June, 23, 2016; parents, Bray Sr. and Doris, nee Murphy, Schulte; a sister, Barb McQuillan, and a brother, Capt. Richard "Dick" Schulte, USN, Ret..
Surviving are two children, B.J. Schulte, (Brenda Kurtz-Schulte), of Belleville, and Jamie Smith, of Denver, Colo.; a sister, Jean Wilks, and a brother, Jack Schulte, both of St. Louis, Mo.; brother-in-law Stan (Bev) Corrington, of Tacoma, WA.; his granddaughter, Amy (Kent) Dunlap, great grandsons, Logan, Tyler, Colin and Garet, of Mascoutah, Ill.; Special friends, Walter and Doris Johannsen, and numerous nieces and nephews.
We wish to thank the wonderful staff at the Atrium of Belleville, for their loving care.
