Obituary for Bruce Edwards

Bruce Edwards
Bruce H. Edwards, age 65, of Edwardsville, beloved husband of Muriel Snow, died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice House in Edwardsville. He was born February 1, 1949 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Henry and Betty (Strauss) Edwards. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters: Janice (Allen) Dallavis of Springfield, IL, Jill (Bud) Gaines of Lebanon and Elaine (Jerry) Brueggemann of Trenton; one brother, Jeffrey Edwards of O'Fallon, IL; seven nieces; one nephew and seventeen great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a step-son, Timothy Glover.

Mr. Edwards worked in Production Control at Boeing. He was a veteran of the US Navy. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon, immediately followed by a memorial mass. An Edwardsville Memorial Gathering will be held Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Stagger Inn Again, 104 E. Vandalia St. in Edwardsville from 5 p.m. - ? In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
