Obituary for Diana J. Neely (Calder)

Diana J. Neely, age 72, of Troy, passed away at 7:16 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Lebanon. She was born September 14, 1945, the daughter of the late Jack and Martha (Choate) Calder.

Besides her parents, Diana was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Neely; and two brothers: Calvin Calder and Charlie Calder.

She is survived by her husband, James Neely; two children: April (Kevin) Casey of Troy and Arthur (Karen) Neely of Somerville, TX; five grandchildren: Jenni Jones of St. Louis, MO, Rachel Johnson of Troy, IL, Rebecca Jones of Troy, IL, Ethan Neely of Somerville, TX and Trevor Neely of Brenham, TX; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are her siblings: Charlotte (Randy) Law and Buddy (Tammy) Choate of Hamshire, TX, Dolly Rush ad Dennie Calder of Beaumont, TX and William (Harriet) Parks of Burton, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
