Diane Madding was born on November 21, 1943 in Buffalo, New York and departed this life on July 24, 2013 after a brief illness in Centerville, Illinois. Diane was one of eight children in her family. She was educated in the Buffalo public school system attending School #53 and Bennett High School.
Known to be a very studious worker her employment included Osmose and Erie County Medical Center until her health forced her to retire. Diane was an avid bowler and dog lover.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by two sisters: Carol and Denise White; brother Anthony White. Paul (Joe) Tucker of Centerville Illinois and Eural (Pop) Strickland of Fort Worth Texas.
Diane’s precious memory lives on in the heart of her children, sons: Darren and Derrick Strickland; daughters: Sheltrice Strickland, Jonell and Audrey Madlock; 18 grandchildren; 11 Great grand children; Three sister in-laws: Irene Branson, Dorothy Branson and Viola Jonas of Centerville Illinois, Three brother in-laws Jerry, Terry and Johnny Madlock of Colorado, sisters, Wilhelmina Madding, Terry White and Sharon Ferguson (Anthony); brothers, Donald Madding (Verna) and Raymond White (Bunny) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
