Glenn Lee Snipes, age 47, of Millstadt, IL, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Smithton, Illinois. He was born February 22, 1962 in Georgia. He is survived by his foster-mother, Denise Kuchenberg of Phoenix, Arizona; 2 foster brothers: Mike and Eric Cornelius of Phoenix, Arizona; and many friends and co-workers. Glenn was a union electrician with the IBEW. He was currently working out of local 702 in West Frankfort, Illinois. He enjoyed fishing and working with model airplanes. He was a WW II history buff, especially that of US aircraft. He also enjoyed keeping up with national politics. His remains will be cremated. A gathering in his honor will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. at the Fairview Heights VFW Hall, 5325 N Illinois In Fairview Heights.
