Obituary for Jeffery Agles
Jeffery Agles, 62, of Belleville, born December 22, 1952 died October 8, 2015 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.
In his early career, Jeff worked for his family’s business, Agles Bus Company. He worked 23 years as a diesel mechanic for AIR Products and Chemicals and had been a service manager for First Student Transportation. Jeff enjoyed traveling, fishing, antique cars and his Harley Davidson.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Agles. Surviving are his wife, Terry, nee Fix, Agles; his mother, Marilyn , nee Ervin, Agles of Swansea; one son, Steven (Julie) Agles of Webster Groves, MO; and a grandson, Blaine. Also surviving are his father-in-law, Ron (Marsha) Fix of St. Louis; an aunt, Helen Jean Germinn and his cousins from Muskogee, OK.
The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Southern Illinois for their care and compassion. A private family gathering was held.
