Obituary for Louis W. Dubs

Louis W. Dubs, age 97, of O’Fallon, passed away at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born February 21, 1921 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the son of the late Werner and Marta Dubs. He married Maxine Harmon. She preceded him in death November 5, 2015.

He is survived by three children: Scott (Linda) Dubs of Romeoville, IL, Steve (Brenda) Dubs of Shiloh and Jill (Curt) Floyd, also of Shiloh; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Mr. Dubs retired from the US Air Force with the rank of Master Sergeant. Following his Air Force career, he worked in Civil Service. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville.

A memorial service will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church, 1810 McClintock in Belleville.
