Obituary for Myra Harpstreit (Schobert)

Myra A. Harpstreit, age 60, of Lebanon, died at 10:01 a.m. Sunday, December 29, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. She was born January 6, 1953 in Belleville, the daughter of the late Ralph and Bessie (Wehmeyer) Schobert. She married David Harpstreit April 1, 1971. He survives. Also surviving are one sister, Debby (Larry) Dvorak of Kirbyville, MO; two brothers: Richard Schobert of Lebanon and Nicholas "Nick" Schobert of Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and her good friends, Kate and Don Huffmon of Belleville. She was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Harpstreit.

Mrs. Harpstreit was a nurse's aid at Memorial Hospital in Belleville for many years. She also had worked at St. Paul's Home for the Aged.

There will be no services.
