Patricia Collins, age 86, of Murphysboro, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 16, 1926 in Marion, IL, the daughter of the late Thomas and Vida Bean. She married Jack Collins in 1947. He preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by a son, Peter Collins of Ponoma, IL; three grandchildren: Rebekka Collins of Tyler, TX, Logan Collins and Ian Collins, both of Murphysboro, IL; and a brother, Gerald (Mary Lou) Bean of Springfield, VA.

Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and a teacher's aid in the Carbondale school district.
