Randye J. Lautner-Zanger, age 57, of Edwardsville, died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2013 at University Nursing and Rehab in Edwardsville. She was born March 12, 1956 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Robert J. "Poopsie" and Mary Florence (Mays) Pearsall. She is survived by a son, Michael Joseph "Joe" (Elysia) Lautner of Edwardsville; seven grandchildren: Sadie, Joey, George, Skyler, Kody, Melik and Deja; one sister, Jerri Lynn Pearsall-Stoneking of Florissant, MO; and one brother, Robert James Pearsall of Fairview Heights.

Randye was a registered nurse, working with geriatric patients most of her career. She was a 1993 graduate of SIU-E and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. After Hurricane Katrina, she volunteered her time and efforts, spending several months in New Orleans assisting others.

According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. A memorial mass will immediately follow. Memorials may be given to the family.
