Obituary for Richard Feldt

Richard Feldt
Richard A. "Rick" Feldt, age 58, of Mascoutah, died Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his residence. He was born December 12, 1954 in Belleville, the son of the late Randolph and Elva (Korte) Feldt. He is survived by two brothers and three sisters: Henry "Hank" Feldt of Mascoutah, Randy (Donna) Feldt of New Baden, Anita Fochtmann of New Baden, Margaret (Morris) Oltmann of Mascoutah and Josie Burtis of Albers. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Arnie and Orville Feldt; two sisters: Luella and Arlene Feldt; and a brother-in-law, Robert "Buck" Fochtmann.

Mr. Feldt was a self-employed painter and the owner of "Quality Painting". He was an avid animal lover.

According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held. Memorials may be given to the Belleville Area Humane Society.
