Robert P. "Bob"  Lammert
Robert P. “Bob” Lammert, age 86, of Edwardsville, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Meridean Village in Glen Carbon.

Bob was born December 15, 1931 in St. Louis, the son of the late Harry and Anna (Beutel) Lammert. He married Shirley Wickman. She survives. Also surviving are his children: Lori Lammert of Edwardsville, Chris (Vicki) Lammert of Edwardsville, Leslie (Jefferey) Taylor of Thornton, CO and Leigh Ann (Bob) Parker of Victor, Montana; and four grandchildren: Leslie M. Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Madison Lammert and Alayna Lammert.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Marjorie Berg, Kathryn Berg, Edward Lammert, Harry Lammert and Harold Lammert.

Bob was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, and was the founder of the church’s branch of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He was also a member of the Edwardsville Knights of Columbus Council 1143; and 4th Degree Assembly 0225. Bob was the founder and former director of Labour of Love, which provided means of hearing to those in need in northern Mexico.

Mr. Lammert gifted his body to St. Louis University School of Medicine.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville. Memorial contributions may be given to the St. Vincent DePaul Society or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
