Sharon Sue Whiteside, age 69, of O'Fallon, died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. She was born May 10, 1947 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of the late Virgil Leo and Elizabeth Violet (Johnson) Lanham. She married Knowlton "Tony" Whiteside. He survives. Also surviving are one son, Hugh Thomas Campbell, Jr. of Pacific, MO; two step-daughters: Tania Scales of Pinckneyville, IL and Cindy Lill of East Enterprise, IN; five grandchildren: James Scales, Craig Young, Brandon Lill, Amber Lill and Cerrah Lill; and two great-grandchildren: Radly Scales and Madison Scales.
Mrs. Whiteside was a loan officer for Bank of America. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies Society and TOPS.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
