Frightfest

Gina loved Halloween. One year we went to 6 Flags Frightfest.  As we were set to leave the park she saw the Dragon Wing ride and just had to ride that ride.  We got in line and a lady came to us and asked if her son could ride with us.  Of course we agreed.  When harnessed in, they pull you up probably about a couple hunderd feet and then release you and let you free fall until you swing through a parabola.  As you are pulled up the leather harness begins to creak  and the little boy we are riding with asks if this is going to break and begins to question our sanity. Gina - my brave rider begins to second guess the decision, but once we are to the top release point and the free fall begins she was in her glory.  We had so many night like that it was incredible, and as typical with a Gina event she included a complete stranger to share in the fun.  I think her and the boy's mom talked for a good 30 minutes after we got off of the ride.  I tried to explain to the young man that women are gabby - but I think he was too young to comprehend.  But I bet somewhere out there, there is a guy who will have a secret smile about how women can bond.
