When I was around 5, 6 or 7 years old, Uncle Rich, who was in the United States Navy, would hitchhike to visit us in Modesto California. We always celebrated his visits and loved when he came because we were so happy to see him safe and sound. We usually got together with Grandpa Cliff and had a special dinner. Uncle Rich was especially fun to be around, playing, teasing and just making us kids happy. I have a video my parents took years ago. Uncle Rich is in two short clips.
